Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS)
People earning high salaries or were graduates from a top 100 global university can obtain Hong Kong residency (including family members) through TTPS program under one of the categories below:
- Persons with annual income reaching HK$2.5M (US$320k) or above, or its equivalent in foreign currency, in the year immediately preceding the date of application
- Degree graduates of the world’s top 100 universities with at least three years of work experience over the past five years immediately preceding the date of application
- Degree graduates of the world’s top 100 universities in the past five years immediately preceding the date of application with less than three years of work experience, subject to an annual quota

- Age – over 18
- Financial requirement – must prove to be able to support yourself financially in Hong Kong
- Good character – clean criminal record
- Language proficiency – proficient in Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese) or English.
- Basic education – normally a first degree from a recognized university
Skilled individuals may acquire Hong Kong residency (including family members) through the QMAS program. No job offer is required and assessment is based on a points test system.
